Product Description
There are few air conditioners that perform as well as Hitachi's Window AC. This 3 star rating model consumes 1650W and has a cooling coverage of 3.09 COP and 3.09 W/W EER. It has a capacity of 1.5 tons and is part of Hitachi's Kaze Plus series of air conditioners.
Design and Build
Hitachi has decide to go with the regular Window AC design for this model. This product comes in white and is durable enough to withstand harsh conditions. It uses a fan to blow the air through the fins. It also has pre-coated aluminum fins which are also high durable and has a digital panel for manual settings adjustments.
Performance
This AC is one of the lower models in the Window AC family. It has been rated in the 3 star category and has an energy rating of 3.09. It has a cooling capacity of 1 and a half tons, which is impressive for a model of its size.
Technology
This Window AC has Auto Climate Technology which means that it analyzes the temperature in the area and adjusts the air cooling settings automatically. It also has the Kaimin feature which adjusts the air conditioner based on your body's temperature. This setting is usually activated at night while you are sleeping, so you can have a comfortable night's rest.
Covenience Settings
The AC has a wireless LCD remote controller, an on/off timer, advanced start up, and adjustable fan speeds to suit your every need.

Worth the money
With this model Hitachi seems to have come back with an old look as I have the same model purchased in 2013. Cooling is absolutely fine even in very hot outside temperature. My room is on top floor but still the cooling effect is good. I have little disappointment with the build quality as I can compare very well with my earlier one. I am writing this review after using this Hitachi 1 ton three star AC for 3 months.
Delivery was on time even during lockdown period of May, superb Flipkart delivery service.
AC technician contacted me within given time window and came for installation as planned, as my place was having dedicated AC power point so only AC fixing was the job and he charged me INR 550/ for the same also I paid for the material used for sealing around AC.

See if have a small room like 120sq.ft then It is must option for u , I have installed this AC in my kids room and it cools the entire room in 5 min if u operator it at 18 degrees , I haven't tried 16 yet but it really will cool fastly . But in the monsoon season like now a days I suggest u to operate it at 25 to 28 degree becoz it is enough otherwise at below 20 degree u would require a blanket for sure. Must buy!
Installation team is not professional at all . They are just learning new guy like street boy.
They have not drill machine for screw tightening. They fitted screw by hammering due to this ac cabinet got bend and my window got loose. During fitting water drain plastic plate got break. This is very bad impression on the HITACHI OR CONCERN company.

Manufacturing defect, I dont know how I am not going insane.
On the first day cooling was okay, But on SECOND DAY the AC STOPPED WORKING. Yes, no cooling from 2nd day onward.
Mechanic came on 3rd. He told that a chip board is faulty and needs to be replaced. He took the board and fitted it in the AC on 7th day i.e. today.
This is my experience with this AC of one week.

Very Good
I went ahead to purchase this window AC after a lot of speculation, am very happy with the performance of this Window AC as it has got a superior throw and fast cooling of room. Installation was pretty easy however we have to do some modifications to the window which would be a bit expensive.

1. working excellent, nice and fast cooling, powerful fan speed.
2. it's not noisy, don't forget to remove wooden piece puting below compressor for transport puspose. many customers complaining about noise problem but this is due to this wooden piece only.

A:The refrigerant gas in KXDAI is R 410 which is high pressure gas and has a high throw rate . This is an eco friendly gas comparable to the old gas in 318KUD. Wattage consumption is lower in KUD.
