Q:Is this suitable for municipal water?
A:Yes. BMC water has tds within 50 at least in Mumbai what I know off and for that category of water a UV and UF filter is enough. This at least won't take away the minerals thats needed.

The product is fantastic and would fit for Mumbai water but again when I received this product, tank full part was damaged and we later realized this, thanks to service person who fixed it on a a short notice
