    Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus features and specifications

    iPhone 8 and 8 Plus have, unsurprisingly, created a wave of excitement among smartphone lovers and iPhone lovers, particularly. Every time Apple launches its new model of mobile phone, it makes sure to sweep the fans off their feet with the unmatchable technological brilliance and design. From the new and beautiful glass back design, to wireless charging and the A11 Bionic processor, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus give multiple reasons to be excited about. Both these phones are being launched online on Flipkart and they will be available for pre-orders on September 22, 2017. So, be one among the first few to buy the iPhone 8 & 8 Plus on Flipkart.

    These phones are covered in glass on the front and back panels. Apple has described this covering to be made form the 'most durable glass ever'. They are water and dust resistant and are available in the space gray, silver and gold colours. As for the display screen size, iPhone 8 has a screen size of 4.7 inches and iPhone 8 Plus has a screen size of 5.5 inches.


    Apple iOS 11- The OS in iPhone 8 & 8 Plus

    Apple iOS is the most secure operating system in the world and with Ios 11, Apple has taken it a notch up. With this version of the OS, Apple showcases a new face of gaming with augmented reality games and other applications. The App store has been completely revamped. The control centre is customizable and is not split across multiple screens. You can do more without having to open the Settings app. Siri has become way more intelligent than it already was. Apart from a deeper integration with Apple music, Siri learns user preferences much better and tries to anticipate what you want.

    Apple's A11 Bionic Processor
    Both the mobiles are powered by the A11 Bionic processor which is boasted by Apple to be the fastest processor ever in any iPhone. It has six cores which provide a 25% faster CPU and a 30% faster GPU. It has four efficiency cores and two performance cores. A11 Bionic manages its power by directing tasks between the two kinds of processors so that less energy is used and tasks are performed quickly. This processor also helps in improving the quality of AR games and apps.

    Apple AirPower wireless charging
    One of the many striking features of this phone is its ability for wireless charging. Simply place your phone on a compatible pad and get rid of the hassle of hanging wires. With the Qi ecosystem used by the iPhone 8 & 8 Plus, it is compatible with most of the accessories available in the market. The battery charges real fast and you can get 50% battery life by charging for just 30 minutes. Iphone 8 has a battery of capacity of 1821 mAh and the 8 Plus has one with 2675 mAh capacity.

    Camera performance

    With the new 12 MP primary camera and the 7MP selfie camera, the latest version of the Apple mobile phone promises to produce more vibrant and realistic images. The new and advanced image signal processor from Apple helps in advanced pixel processing, faster autofocus in low light , a new Portrait lighting mode to click better portraits and more. The iPhone 8 Plus sports a dual-lens camera, each of 12 MP resolution.

    Ample storage 

    The iPhone 8 has a 2GB RAM and 2 variants based on internal memory (ROM), one with a standard 64GB and the other one has 256GB of internal storage space. The iPhone 8 Plus has a 3GB RAM and one of the variants has a standard 64GB of internal memory and the other one has 256GB.


    Best features of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus

    The iPhone 8 and iphone 8 Plus have introduced a number of new features into the iPhone. The glass back of the device is made of Corning Glass and it is an extremely durable glass cover which keeps the device safe. It is not just the aesthetics and build of the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus that make them stand apart from the rest of the crowd, but the performance of these flagship Apple mobiles are known to be extremely fast and smooth. It is the six-core A11 Bionic processor that facilitates this smooth and efficient performance of the phone and it performs much better than the previous A1O Fusion processor. As for the graphics, Apple is using its own custom designed silicon (GPU) for the graphics and it is now displaying a 30% improvement in performance. The iOS11 has also made working with the phone feel like a breeze. As for the speakers of the iPhone 8 Plus and 8, they provide 25% louder speakers with deeper bass. The True Tone Display is a feature that facilitates automatic adjustment of colour temperature of the screen to compliment the surrounding lighting. The camera of this phone is also highly advanced compared to iPhone7 with the OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) working much better for the iPhone 8 Plus and 8. The major highlight of the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus is the wireless charging feature. Plugging in for 15 minutes will charge the device up to 23%, which when compared to iPhone 7 charged it only 14%.
