ORPAT 687 CL DX Steam Iron  (P. Blue)

Been using this for a month now. First for the cons -
1. Heating is not adequate unless you pull the setting all the way to the extreme - except perhaps for silks.
2. Heating + weight of iron not enough to smooth out wrinkles on cottons unless using the steam mode.
3. Water tends to trickle out occasionally when using the steam mode. Not sure why, but once I cycle the stem button the leak stops. A faulty valve on this one maybe... not sure.
And the pros -
1. Does the job well when using the ...

Flipkart needs to establish some basic level of quality control below which they should not sell. This is my first disappointment of purchase.

The teflon coating is too rough. The connectors dont connect upon placing the iron in the cradle. Overall a very bad product.
