i ordered for Transcend TS8XDVDS-K External DVD Writer (Order ID: OD40103027982) which was latest model. but i received TS8XDVDRW-K previous model.

so plz chek whethr u got proper product. donno y flipkart neglects abt resellers as well as customers like us.. we depend on flipkart for saving money most imp time..
this time i got pissed off..

Beware U might not get this model !!!

Hi All
I Ordered this product few days back, And got it Delivered quite fast but when I opened I found the model is different. I spoke to Flipkart and arranged a replacement. That was also too quick but when I opened again the same blunder. The Model I am receiving is of lower price and is also available in flipkart. Again I have to arrange for the replacement Lets see what happens next.

Good product at good price.

At the price Flipkart is offering this product, I personally feel it's a great deal. First of all, it looks very sleek and trendy. [For me, at least- I couldn't take my eyes off it for minutes]. Lightweight and portable, it's very good for home use. I have been using it to write my DVDs [right after I received my product, I got to work] and it has a good writing speed as well. With no other driver files requirement and two years warranty, so far, SO GOOD. I use it with my Compaq Presario with...

very handy

i bought this for my mac which does not have an internal disk drive...and it is extremely portable and useful for mac users...though mac has other alternative options like remote disk and other useful stuffs but still this device is very useful for me

A wonderful product.

I have been using this product for the last 2 years at work. When my internal dvd rom failed, I decided to go in for this.
Pros: 1: Compact and light weight. 2: Gets immediately recognized when connected to the usb port. 3: With new laptops, it works with just one usb connector - no need to connect the other connector of the 'Y' usb cable.
Cons: 1: Obviously slow on write, but one knows about it.
All said a very good product. Definitely recommend it. Flipkart's good service and delivery is ...

Its been 2 months and product has delivered fair enough. Good service from Flipkart.

One benefit of this Transcend drive is that it has 2 years of warranty while others have only 1 year. My Samsung's external DVD drive went dead as soon as one year was over and there was no warranty available, plus repairing charges without warranty were almost similar to the cost of new one. So went for Transcend this time and satisfied with the product till now.
