What can one say about a popcorn maker except that it does its job just as well or just as inefficiently as other popcorn makers? From all the reviews I read about popcorn makers before buying this one, I see there's little to differentiate one brand or machine from another. They all have the same capacity of around 50 gms of corn, of which they pop some and leave some unpopped. It makes good oil-free popcorn. We can make fryums too (small size) without using oil (we need to retain the fryums in the hot chamber for a few seconds when they start popping out so that they get fried well. I do this by placing an old tea strainer wire mesh at the mouth of the chamber for about 5 seconds, and then raising it allowing the fryums to escape).
